Herwig Gasser is the owner of a new patissier concept called "Süsses vom Feinsten". He worked before as a Master Patissierfor the famous Coffee Houses "Landtmann", "Mozart", "Kondotorei Querfeld" and "Residenz". Many of his creations are famous in Vienna and all over Austria.
He has given the traditional Austrian "Mehlspeisen" a totally new dimension, by making them lighter and more refined. He published a book about them in 1999.
Because of his achievements with pastry, Herwig Gasser was given the "Golden Medal for Service to the Austrian Republic" in 1999.
