Serge Alexandre is Chef-Patissier-Chocolatier at Defreyne in Strombeek. In 2003, he won the first international edition of the "International Belgian Chocolate Award" by Callebaut, the former World Chocolate Masters competition. He became "1st Chocolatier in Belgium" by winning the Trophée Prosper Montagné.
Serge Alexandre also participated with the Belgian team in the WPTC in Las Vegas in 2004, and thus became "Vice World Champion Pastry". The next years, he was a jury member there.
In Japan, Serge Alexandre also sells chocolates under his own brand. As a consultant, he sets up special courses for Japanese chocolatiers.
Serge Alexandre is also a Callebaut Chocolate Ambassador.
