After her studies in Mexico City, Paulina Abascal travelled to Europe to further master her techniques on chocolate, cakes and sugar. She created a totally new trend in Mexico in relation to decoration and the combination of flavours in bakery and pastry.
Paulina Abascal was the first bakery chef member of the Valet club in Mexico and has been awarded the Gold Medal of Honor by the Culinary Academy of France since 2005. For many years, she has been giving lectures, assessments and courses and won several competitions.
She became the Ambassador of the Mexican Bakery and Pastry industry in more than 24 countries in Latin America. She has her own TV show on channel Gourmet.com in all these countries, and since 2008 also in the United States on channel v-me.
The "Larousse Desserts with the Touch of Mexican Flavour by Paulina Abascal" is a huge success. Paulina Abascal is known for her slogan "Sweet kisses" and she is considered by the Mexican specialized journalists among the countrie's ten best Chefs.
