Jean-Philippe Darcis started his own business in 1996. By now, Patisserie-Chocolaterie Darcis has shops in Brussels, Liège, Spa, Lasnes, Verviers, Heusy and Osaka (Japan). Before, he worked for some famous houses and took up courses at Lenôtre, Bellouet and many others.
In 2001 he won the title of "Ambassador of Belgian Chocolate" for life, by winning the "Prix du Chocolat Belge" by Callebaut. He also became the "1st Chocolatier in Belgium".
Jean-Philippe Darcis has been part of the Belgian team in the WPTC in Las Vegas (US) in 2002 (Bronze Medal), at the Ice Cream World Cup in Turin (Italy) in 2003 (Silver Medal) and the "Coupe du Monde" in Lyon (France) in 2005.
Jean-Philippe Darcis is a member of "Relais Dessert" and a Callebaut Chocolate Ambassador.
