Chef and artist at the same time, Ernst Knam in 1992 sets out on a solo career opening the his first pastry shop "Il mondo di Knam" (today are 2), a stone’s throw from the centre of Milan.
The genius of Ernst Knam stands out in the panorama of the “new Italian gastronomy”, with surprising, original recipes and accompaniments, both sweet and salted ones, that made him winner of many international awards. His experiences of various cultures, accumulated over 25 years of travel and work all over the world in Michelin Star Restaurants, serve as inspiration and infuse his every product with creativity. Knam also published 14 cook books.
